Ice cold words

I hear and I see
But it`s all so confusing to me
The long whip of her eye lashes
Cools me down as
The car crashes
Long since that day
There`s been so much to say
And all the while
Time carries on
Like the words of a song
Never to be heard
Or sung
Ice cold words
Coming out of her mouth
I never thought
I never really had a doubt about
Anything she ever said
Until last night
As we lay together in bed
She told me she loved me
So many times
But little did I know
In fact I must`ve been blind
No feelings
Cold bodies in the night
Hers against mine
The mistake was I believed in her
When she treated me kind
It`s too late now
To believe her
I see I was wrong
