I see Christmas lights on almost every house
Snowflakes sprayed onto window panes
All of the shops have their windows dressed up
Christmas carols coming out every front door
Power sales and specials
Of up to 80% off
Line-ups of parents, friends, lovers
and co-workers trying their very best
To get the best present and get it for less

But what I see the most
Is when I look in your eyes
For what I see the most
Is Christmas, like when I was a child
Your face covered with chocolate
Eyes sparkling and shimmering
Sitting and waiting
Feeling so grown up to be up so late
Thinking Christmas must be every night
When you get older
Boy I can hardly wait
Waiting for Santa Claus
Wow this is great

I see and hear so many ads on TV and radio
For offers and specials unheard of before
There lay-aways, give-aways, no money down
And people lining up right out of town
They all want to give something
at this special time of year
I see happy faces so full of cheer
I wish it could be just like this
every day of the year

But what I see the most
Is when I look in your eyes
For what I see the most
Is Christmas, like when I was a child
Your eyes open wider as I tell you the tale
As I was told, of the Big Man in Red
Here's another chocolate I said
As the clock ticked time
nearer to the most special time of year
It's Christmas time once again
Christmas time is here
