Stargazing

Next time you’re bored not sure what to do
If it’s late at night here’s what you do

You step outside and look up through night air
What you’ll see is wonderful, a vast galaxy there

Pretend you’re an artist, the stars are your tools
The night sky’s your canvas, there are no rules

As you gaze to the north, to the south, east and west
Each view’s a masterpiece, which one is best

Once you’ve decided try blinking your eyes
A new picture formed with each of your tries

Dawn is arriving, you’re spent but feeling fine
You’re awaiting the dusk to try one more time.
